General Strategy
When building a protoss base, don't clutter your base. Power your buildings and protect your important tech-tree structures. It is also a good idea to group the important structures.
This is a little low, but it works. Put a few high templars in a shuttle and fly them behind the enemy mineral field. Have them use their psionic storm on the miners coming to gather minerals.
Have an observer move over every unknown mineral field. That way when the enemy tries to build a base, you can wipe it out fast.
Use the templars hallucination ability to fake out the enemy.
don't tell your opponent anything they don't need to know.
